Description
Winter Wilderness Series (Ages 10–16)
Give your child the chance to build confidence, resilience, and real outdoor skills this winter! In this 6-week series, participants will explore Thrive Outdoors’ Big Five foundations of wilderness living—Mindset, Shelter, Fire, Water, and Food—through hands-on adventures in the Greater Concord/Manchester area. Each session blends a practical survival skill with a powerful life lesson, helping youth discover strength, teamwork, and resourcefulness in the outdoors.
Whether we’re hiking frozen trails, learning to build a shelter, purifying water, or cooking a meal over a fire, every class teaches kids how to stay calm, think clearly, and work together—even when conditions get tough. This series empowers youth to embrace the wild, build wilderness skills safely, and cultivate resilience they can carry into everyday life.
Ages 10–16. If a child is outside this age range but would like to participate, please reach out to Sarah@eastcoastevolutionleadership.com. Parents are welcome to stay if they would like to.
Kids should be prepared to be outdoors for 2–3 hours in winter conditions. A full gear list will be provided (layers, warm boots, gloves/mittens, hats, snow pants, etc.).
Cost:
• $150 for the full series
• $75 for each additional child in the same family
