About your teacher
Edita's ceramic practice began in high school and continued her studies at the Kansas City Art Institute in ceramics. While she initially moved to Colorado in 2019 to study sustainable agriculture and environmental studies, she shifted her focus in 2022 upon moving to San Francisco. Since then, her career in ceramics has flourished across both private and community studios, where she has honed her teaching skills and technical expertise. Edita finds great fulfillment in teaching and being an active member of the artistic community. Her personal work primarily utilizes porcelain, with an emphasis on exploring the clay process, and experimenting with stains. Her work challenges the traditional boundaries of functionality and form.
