Welcome to the Tiki Easy Bar Rum Club, Asheville’s first-ever Rum Club! Our deep appreciation for rum is a huge reason why we opened Tiki Easy in the first place and it’s time that we share some of our premium, rare, historic, and near-extinct rums and what we’ve learned about the craft of distilling sugarcane that has been around since the 1600s. We are constantly working to source and provide the best rum selection in North Carolina, and want to share it at a discount with both rum enthusiasts and rum novices alike!

 

This month's session taking place Tuesday, April 30th will be: Super Premium Spanish Heritage Rum Tasting (Individual Cost with Ron Del Barriito 5 Star $145 or Individual Cost without Ron Del Barriito 5 Star $65)

Topic: This is a discussion of production and aging methods used in Spanish Heritage-style rums.  We’ll taste three extraordinary contemporary rums:  Kirk and Sweeney XO, Diplomatico Ambassador, and Ron Del Barriito 5 Star. We’ll end with a one-off Tiki Easy Bar cocktail.

 

More info on The Tiki Easy Rum Club: The Tiki Easy Rum Club will meet monthly with two options on the fourth Thursday or Sunday of each month at The Tiki Easy Bar. We will be offering individual monthly sessions which will vary in cost depending on the topic and rums poured, OR you can purchase our full-year membership at the highly discounted rate of $600 (retail value of $850) which will give you access to one of every monthly session (11 total) and the additional high end pours when noted. Full members will receive 10% off of all Tiki Easy merch throughout the year. Seats are limited to 10 people per session. The sessions will be led by one of our incredible bartenders, Ian Kearney. Ian has over 10 years of experience in the industry and first fell in love with rum while working at a bar called Extra Fancy, arguably one of THE industry bars in NYC at the time. He has traveled to many distilleries around the world to learn about how different spirits are produced and experience the blending of barrels and rickhouse rotations. We look forward to sharing some incredible rum with all of you!
