Tikvah Chadasha Uganda: Learn with Activist and Leader Shoshana McKinney

Description

Visiting leader and activist Shoshana McKinney will share the story of Tikvah Chadasha, her organization that promotes economic empowerment for women and supports children with disabilities in Uganda. Shoshana will speak about how her Jewish values inspired her to confront poverty in her community and create pathways of support for the most vulnerable. This learning session will include a light lunch afterwards. 

 

Please note: This event will take the place of clergy-led Torah Study on this date.
