Description
Sign up now for a free, two-hour workshop on tinted etchings from nature in the style of 18th-century naturalist, explorer, and artist William Bartram. At the workshop, instructor Kristin Law will demonstrate the creation of a drypoint etching, an intaglio printmaking process in which the image is created directly on a plate. Participants will select an original drypoint etching created by Law and learn hand-tinting techniques, leaving with a beautiful etching inspired by Bartram’s artwork. No prior art experience is required. Space is limited to twenty participants.
