Description

Compete to be the drunkest smart person or the smartest drunk person. Our Spelling BEE Fundraiser is back by popular demand! Join us for our Summer Fundraiser! Contestants purchase tickets, then someone will be in touch with registration information. Your drinks for the evening and for the first time ever are included in your ticket purchase! As long as you spell words correctly, you will move on to additional rounds of drinking and spelling. The winner receives a bar tab and a season ticket to Le Chat Noir. If you want to watch, it is FREE admission, but grab your seat early, because this usually packs the house. Attendees are encouraged to purchase raffle tickets, you place bets on who you think will win, and at the contest's conclusion a winner will be drawn out of the best speller's cup. Winners receive a season ticket to Le Chat Noir.

Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) is an intimate 60-100 seat theatre with attached lobby and full service bar that echoes a 19th century cabaret after one too many absinthes. Like it’s namesake, Le Chat Noir exists to produce and present entertainment to the CSRA that was previously not being offered.
