Description

Julie Bennett Hume is a folk and Americana singer-songwriter whose music reflects a lifetime immersed in roots traditions, story, and song. From early influences like Doc Watson , Stephen Stills, Maria Muldaur and The Roches to years spent playing Cajun music, old-time string band repertoire, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and the blues of Memphis Minnie, her musical path has been wide-ranging — and that breadth quietly informs everything she writes. Her songs are intimate, literate, and emotionally precise, favoring nuance over polish. Anchored by expressive vocals and intricate, open-tuned guitar work, Hume writes about memory, moral reckoning, place, and the ways personal lives intersect with history.

David Luther is a Kansas City-based music artist known for his soulful blend of Americana and indie-folk, blues-infused rock, and heartfelt singer-songwriter. Rooted in the rich musical landscape of the Midwest, Luther's music often explores themes of resilience, the search for connection, and the beauty of everyday life. With a warm and evocative voice, raw and powerful delivery, he crafts songs that resonate with sincerity and a deep sense of place.

Also performing are Too Many Witnesses & James Carter.
