Torn is a text-based, crime-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The game was developed by the British developer Joe Chedburn in 2004, and is one of the largest text-based online video games. The game involves a virtual world based around crime and business.

TornCon: United States is back for its 6th year! This time we’re taking over Boston, MA from July 28 to August 3, 2026!
TornCon 2025 brought more than a hundred Torn players together in Chicago, with activities ranging from kayaking and rollercoasters to casual late-night drinks and karaoke. Some gatherings are free to attend, but for the main meetup you’ll need a ticket priced at $125. Here’s what you’ll get in return:
- Dinner and drinks on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Central Wharf Co.
- A personalized Torn name badge
- A goodie bag packed with official Torn merch
- An in-game Shot Glass collectible
- Access to exclusive TornCon Discord channels
There are 215 tickets available for the main event, so please secure your place early to avoid disappointment. Tickets for additional activities, such as the traditional Torn Tipsy Trivia, will go on sale at a later date. Further information on the itinerary will be posted in the TornCon Discord.
Please note that photographs will be taken regularly during TornCon. While you are free not to participate in posed photos, it is not possible to censor images after they have been taken, and photos may be used to promote the event. Still, we hope you’ll join us in Boston this summer for a week of banter, bonding, and at least one awkward group photo.
