Connecticut's premier professional choir, delighting audiences since 1974. Connecticut Choral Artists - CONCORA presents choral music at the highest level, from the Baroque to the present day. CONCORA programs challenge, excite, educate, and inspire audiences across New England. Under the direction of Chris Shepard, Artistic Director, the ensemble’s versatility is displayed in its wide range of repertoire and in the crafting of ensembles from among the choir’s roster of singers.

Description
New settings of timeless texts and songs will be on display for this special program, presented in partnership with The University of Hartford’s The Hartt Chamber Choir. Co-directed by Chris Shepard and Carolina Flores, Director of Choral Activities at The Hartt School, this will be a unique opportunity to hear old words and music made new again while providing valuable experience for early career vocalists to rehearse and perform under the mentorship of CONCORA’s professional roster.
