What happens when you give yourself permission to make something bad?
Tragic Magic is a 2-hour experimental art workshop designed to help you let go of perfectionism, overthinking, and the pressure to create something beautiful. We’ll make questionable artistic decisions, experiment with paint, markers, texture, and other materials, physically alter our work, and then transform the mess into something unexpected.
You don’t need to be “good" at making art, and you definitely don’t need a plan.
The less precious you are about the outcome, the better.
Expect creative chaos, bad decisions, destruction, surprises, and probably a few happy accidents along the way.
All skill levels welcome. No art experience necessary. Come ready to make something beautifully terrible.
