Bio: Lise Lorentzen’s journey with rosemaling began at the age of 11 when she attended her first class at a local Sons of Norway Lodge. Since then, her artwork has spread far and wide, gracing homes and collections across the U.S., Canada, Norway, and beyond. In 2024, she earned a prestigious gold medal in rosemaling from Vesterheim. Lise has had the privilege of learning from both Norwegian and American rosemaling masters, including an apprenticeship with Vesterheim Gold Medalist Eldrid Arntzen. Her nationally recognized work continues to inspire, and she passionately shares the beauty of rosemaling through commissions, galleries, social media, and teaching.
