A LITTLE BIT ABOUT EACH ARTIST:
Seth Walker
Seth Walker is a revered modern Americana artist; a three dimensional talent combining a gift
for melody and lyric alongside a rich, Gospel-drenched, Southern-inflected voice with a true blue
knack for getting around on the guitar. Currently residing in Asheville after stints living in
Nashville, New Orleans and Austin, he’s used those experiences wisely, soaking up the sounds
and absorbing the musical lineage of these varied places. With a bluesman’s respect for roots
and tradition, coupled with an appreciation for contemporary songwriting, Seth sublimely
weaves a range of styles with warmth and grace. All Music declares, "Walker is deft and
elegant, weaving together sounds and stories in a way that has a quiet, lasting impact,” but
perhaps Country Standard Time said it best: “If you subscribe to the Big Tent theory of
Americana, then Seth Walker –with his blend of blues, gospel, pop, R&B, rock, and a dash
country—just might be your poster boy.” His latest album, Why The Worry, is out now.
Gabrielle Louise:
bio:
Hailing from Paonia, CO, Gabrielle Louise writes "Deliciously Literate Americana."
(Aquarian Weekly)
that blends a sophisticated use of musical harmony with a lyrical love for philosophy and history. "Her voice is going to make time stand still in that it is full, rich and has great nuance in it."
(No Depression)
Known for her authenticity and candor on stage, her performances delight with whimsical banter and enchant with dynamic musicality. After graduating Berklee with a degree in Songwriting, she crossed the country many times over in a veggie-oil powered tour van and won multiple awards for her song-craft. (1st place at Songwriter’s Serenade, 2nd place in the Telluride Troubadour Contest, and 3rd place at Lyon’s Folk Festival.) Her record If the Static Clears reached number #6 on the national contemporary folk chart in 2018, and she has been entrusted to open for greats from Richie Havens to the late Guy Clark. Gabrielle Louise is also a watercolor painter who loves her introverted side as much as her extroverted stage time!
Megan Burtt:
Bio:
Megan Burtt has played music on almost every continent, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and survived a gluten free diet for a decade. She and Oprah share the same enneagram number. Burtt has returned with her 2025 release, "Witness". The Colorado-based performer, a past Kerrville NewFolk Competition winner who also performed with the all-redhead roots band, had been working on the project for years, but hit delays with illness and false starts. She really began to unlock new levels in her songwriting when she decided to stop dancing around what she really wanted to say. “I discovered that’s a side of myself I like as a songwriter. It’s become a sensibility that I know how to rest in.” With unfailing honesty and vulnerability, Burtt—who self-produced the project—wrestles with weighty topics like the burden of her own aspirations, generational trauma and the end of an important relationship. She also does it while mixing in doses of groove and pop smarts that make the lyrics hit even harder. Ultimately, even though she addresses thorny topics, there’s a sense of hope on Witness. “These songs are more real because hidden in them is the belief that there’s a silver lining, I’m not ignorant to the dumpster fire you have to endure to get there. Ultimately, I’m hopeful too. I enjoy the pursuit of it all.”
