READ THESE DETAILS BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS
This ain’t bar trivia. It’s research-heavy, gritty, and competitive. Know what you’re signing up for. You’ve been warned.
IMPORTANT POLICY – ONE NIGHT PER PERSON
I host True Crime Cult the third Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each month at Cult Classic. You may only attend one night per case.
If you show up to both, I’ll call you out, embarrass you in front of the room, disqualify your team, and ban you from all future True Crime Cult. No second chances. No excuses. Don’t test me.
This is a serious competition, but it’s still meant to be fun. Grow up and don’t ruin it for everyone.
IMPORTANT POLICY – AGE DISCLAIMER
True Crime Cult is not a family-friendly event. We talk about murder, rape, trauma.
The worst parts of humanity. Because that’s what true crime is.
I use strong language, dark humor, and I don’t hold back. There will be crude jokes. There will be uncomfortable truths. If that makes you uneasy, this probably isn’t your night.
Suggested age is 16+.
If someone under 18 is in the room, it’s on their adult to know what they’re walking into.
Every third Tuesday & Wednesday, the truth comes out. Some crimes get solved. Others never will. And some are still happening while the whole world watches.
Each month, J. Coursey Willis cracks open a new case: unsolved, infamous, or just too twisted to forget. Once announced, you’ve got three weeks to study up and prepare for a night of gritty, case-based trivia for prizes, pride… and the right to talk trash for a month.
The Next True Crime Cult: Disappearance of Natalee Holloway
On May 30, 2005, an 18-year-old American student vanished on the island of Aruba.
Natalee Holloway.
She had just graduated high school in Alabama and was celebrating on a senior trip with classmates.
That night she went out with friends. She never made it back to her hotel.
Witnesses last saw her leaving a bar with three local young men in a silver car.
Joran van der Sloot.
Satish Kalpoe.
Deepak Kalpoe.
No body.
No crime scene.
No confession that ever held up.
Aruban police arrested and released suspects more than once as the world watched.
Search teams combed the island.
Divers searched the sea.
Her family refused to stop asking questions.
Years later, the story turned darker.
Van der Sloot would go on to murder another young woman in Peru.
For nearly two decades the Holloway case has lived in the space between rumor and proof.
Was it an accident?
A cover-up?
Or something far worse that disappeared with the tide?
Aruba was full of people that night.
But the truth disappeared with her.

HOW TICKETS & SEATING WORK
Tables seat 4 people. If you want the whole thing to yourself, buy all 4 seats.
Teams can combine 2 tables for a MAX of 8 players. You CANNOT have more than 8 per team.
If you plan to combine two tables, make sure you buy two of the same type that are near each other.
- Diamond-shaped tables = low tops
- Circle-shaped tables = high tops
Most teams do it like this: one person buys all the tickets (anywhere from 1 to 8), then their friends pay them back and show up together the night of. Easy.
Flying solo? Grab a single ticket, but only full-table purchases guarantee a private team.
HOUSE RULES
- No phones.
- No notes.
- No cheating.
Don’t test it. I will kick you out permanently.
Come early (not when the doors close). Grab food. Get a drink.
The case starts at 6:30 PM sharp.
Produced & Hosted by J. Coursey Willis
