Twilight Trio at The Parthenon New Albany
Step out of the Harvest Homecoming festivities and into the shadows for a haunting evening of music by candlelight at The Parthenon New Albany.
For three nights, October 8–10, The Parthenon will take on a darker character. Beneath the glow of flickering candlelight, Twilight Trio will perform in Victorian dress and veils, filling the historic space with an atmospheric program of classical masterpieces, cinematic scores, and unexpected modern favorites.
The evening’s selections will include Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar, Mozart’s Lacrimosa, Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Erik Satie’s Gymnopédie No. 1, and The Rolling Stones’ Paint It Black, along with additional pieces selected for a performance that feels beautiful, eerie, and distinctly Halloween.
Surrounded by candlelight, historic architecture, and the haunting silhouettes of the performers, guests are invited to settle in with a drink and experience a darker side of Harvest Homecoming weekend.
Whether Twilight Trio is the finale to a day at the festival or the reason you come downtown for the evening, expect something a little haunting, a little theatrical, and unlike anything else happening on the street outside.
Victorian mourning attire, gothic elegance, and Halloween finery are welcome, but never required.
