Twisted Tree Baking Company

Twisted Tree is a European inspired bakery, focusing on rustic hearth breads, and yeast levened pastries.  The top two signature baked goods are country sourdough and traditional handmade croissants.  Owned and operated by Robert and Lori Black, Twisted Tree is a true family business.  Partner and Head Baker Kassie Joslin, is Robert's sister, and she runs the day to day operations at the bakeshop, and is the genius behind the delicious recipes.  Robert and Kassie's mom, Terri, runs the weekly farmers market booths in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Robert started the $2K Cookie Contest in 2023 as way to draw attention to Oklahoma's burgeoning bakery scene.  The goal of the event is to raise awareness for our state's amazing bakers and bakeries.  The Twisted Tree staff helps run the event, but none of the Twisted Tree bakers compete in this event.  We encourage and foster collaboration with some of the top bakeries in the state!
