The University of Central Florida (UCF) was founded 60 years ago to meet the research and workforce needs of our defense and space industries. Those two industries remain key drivers of UCF's impactful research, top-ranked academics, industry partnerships, and talent pipeline. Ranked as one of America's most Innovative universities, UCF continues to innovate in all areas. The recently released five-year plan - "Unleashing Potential" - lays out ambitious goals for research, student growth, academic programs, corporate partnerships, community engagement, and impact. It identifies five key strategic focus areas all highly relevant to the human performance and readiness of our nation's military. Join us to meet UCF Provost Michael Johnson and hear about your hometown university's high-impact role in our nation's defense industry.
