The Dollhouse is honored to welcome David Bazan for a rare, intimate performance as part of Undertow’s renowned Living Room Show Series.
Best known as the creative force behind Pedro the Lion, Bazan has spent more than two decades shaping the landscape of indie rock with unflinching honesty and literary songwriting. From Pedro the Lion’s early cult-favorite records to his solo albums, Bazan’s work explores faith, doubt, morality, relationships, and the quiet unraveling (and rebuilding) of identity.
His 2009 solo record Curse Your Branches marked a pivotal moment in indie music. A stark, courageous reckoning with spirituality that resonated far beyond church or scene. In 2019, Pedro the Lion returned with Phoenix, the first in a series of autobiographical albums tracing Bazan’s upbringing and inner life with stunning specificity.
In the spirit of Undertow Music Collective's renowned living room series, this performance strips everything back. No barricades, no stage theatrics, just songs and stories shared in close quarters. Expect candid conversation, deep cuts, and the kind of hush that only happens when a room is truly listening.
