A crafty, tropical oasis in the dead of winter to revive your soul in a tiki bar! Limited to 35 people!!
You see, we used to do a Winter Retreat at Sons of Norway and then the pandemic hit and the venue was no longer available for this event. And that said Retreat ended in a luau dance party. And then the cocktail lounge of our dreams opened up across the river last year and we want to live in it all winter. But instead we’ll throw a micro Retreat to live out part of our dreams.
Tiki drinks (NA and A). 2 full craft sessions. A mai tai mixology class by the legends of Starbird themselves. And a delightfully cozy lunch with probably bingo.
Tickets go on sale on January 15 at 8pm CST HERE. Bonus if you do it in sweatpants.
It'll be like a sweet little taste...a sweet little nibble...of our epic sleepaway summer camp. In sweatpants. Because hygge.
So this lounge-ful Retreat will include:
*9:30am - check-in, caffeinate, or dive into a mimosa situation
*10am - Retreat session 1:
*noon - Lunch + something like bingo
*1pm - Retreat session 2:
*3pm - Retreat session 3: Mai Tai
*4pm - Starbird opens to the public and you can keep hanging and crafting or head out full of dreams of palm trees, needlepoint, and hot dogs.
