Description

Join the Oshawa Museum on June 7 to tour through Oshawa’s largest cemetery, Union Cemetery. Oshawa Museum guides share stories of well-known citizens and of everyday people who made Oshawa the community it is. This tour will explore the South Presbyterian Section and Section C, highlighting notable people who are buried there. The tour begin at 2 PM at the front gates of Union Cemetery (760 King St. W.).

Admission is $5/person (FREE for members of the Oshawa Historical Society).

This tour runs rain or shine!

Please note: It is recommended that participants park at the nearby Oshawa Civic Recreation Complex (99 Thornton Road South) as parking at Union Cemetery is very limited (5 minute walk)

Nestled on the shores of Lake Ontario in beautiful Lakeview Park, the OM tells the story of Oshawa from Indigenous inhabitants to present day. Home to Oshawa’s history, the OM is managed by the Oshawa Historical Society.
