Join us to explore a sound experiment with Dr. John Brady from Omaha Pipes and Drums.
This immersive experience with Highland bagpipes is being played inside the gallery to celebrate those lost but not forgotten.
Charles Kay Jr. has shared his story and journey with his exhibit UNSEEN. Please join him at KANEKO for this unique sound experiment on March 9th at 6 pm.
Dr. John Brady has been playing pipes for 25 years. He is the Pipe Major of Omaha Pipes and Drums, which has operated as a non-profit organization for 50 years. The band offers free instruction in piping and drumming to anyone who wants it.
Dr. Brady’s other job is as a family practice physician at the Community Alliance, another Omaha non-profit that offers a wide range of services to adults with mental illness. He is also a husband, a father, a gardener, and an Air Force veteran.
