Up + Downtown Music Festival is excited to return in 2021 with a limited capacity, one day summertime event in Hawrelak Park: Purple City.
The goal of Purple City is to celebrate the resilience, immense talent & diversity of the Edmonton music community. The line-up is made up entirely of Edmonton artists. We are excited to showcase the City’s amazing homegrown talent that is garnering attention on the international stage.
We’re also excited to partner with Lawless Vintage to offer a curated sustainable fashion and local arts market on site.
Food vendors including : Coast Food Truck, Laker Coffee & more
Beer & Cocktails provided by: Blindman Brewing & Strathcona Spirits
We can’t wait to celebrate the return of the live music and arts community safely outdoors in the gorgeous heritage amphitheatre on August 7th at Purple City.

We will be actively evolving our strategy to ensure we are hosting a fully safe event and will update information closer to the event.
In the event that restrictions are not lifted and the event cannot take place, full refunds will be issued for all tickets purchased. Your safety and health is our number one priority.
