Woodland RoadJoin us on Friday 4 July, as Ushaw Chapel Choir returns to the beautiful St Cuthbert’s Chapel for their annual summer concert.
From serene reflections to vibrant soundscapes, Illuminate brings together a rich blend of sacred, folk, and nature-inspired choral music.
Repertoire for the evening will include:
- Ola Gjeilo’s ethereal Northern Lights
- Eleanor Daley’s evocative Grandmother Moon
- Clara Schumann’s poignant Abendfeier in Venedig
- Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Salve Regina
- O Radiant Dawn by James MacMillan
Alongside other works by Herbert Howells, Kristina Arakelyan and Charles Wood, this programme explores the beauty of light and shadow in music.
Taking place 7:30pm – 9:15pm, with a refreshment interval.
