Agape Farm of Watha, LLC is an agritourism farm located in rural Pender County between Burgaw and Wallace, NC. Established in 2021 as a family farm and in 2023 as a limited liability company. We offer a place to those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a more tranquil setting. A morning or afternoon spent at the farm might include snuggling a baby goat, a rabbit or checking out one of our hairy coos! Which ever farm animal tops your favorite list, chances are you'll find it at Agape Farm of Watha! We'd love to host your next birthday party, family reunion, or corporate event or just come for a farm tour! Our farm is open by appointment with the exception of our open farm days which are typically held in the spring, fall and at Christmas time.

Valentine's "Paint Your Partner" A Fun Date at the Farm
This relaxed and lighthearted event invites couples to unwind and have some fun while painting a portrait of each other—no experience required and perfection absolutely not expected. The goal is simple: have fun, try something new, and leave with unforgettable memories (and a portrait you’ll talk about for years).
🌾 Farm Tour Experience. The afternoon begins with a guided farm tour, giving couples the chance to:
• Meet our friendly farm animals, Highland cows, goats, donkeys, rabbits and more!
• Explore the farm together while learning some fun facts about farm life.
• Enjoy photo opportunities with the animals before painting begins
The tour helps everyone unwind and sets the tone for a wonderful afternoon.
🎨 Paint Your Partner Portrait Event
After the tour, couples will head over for portraits on canvas.
Each partner will paint their own canvas using their significant other as the subject. This portion of the afternoon is meant to be fun, playful, and completely judgment-free.
We provide everything you need:
•One canvas per person
•Paint, brushes, aprons, and all supplies
•Table setup designed for couples
A host will be available to offer simple guidance and encouragement, but artistic talent is not required. Stick figures are welcome, laughter is encouraged, and questionable proportions are all part of the experience.
Please note: this is a paint-your-partner night—not a professional portrait session. No refunds will be issued for crooked eyes, oversized noses, or portraits that only vaguely resemble your partner. That’s half the fun!

Other Pertinent Information
Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Agape Farm of Watha, LLC due to severe weather or for our animals welfare. In the case of inclement weather, but not severe, please remember to bring an umbrella or raincoat and boots.
If the event is cancelled we will refund all monies paid either by original payment method or as a Square gift card for future events.
