It's Valentine's day so we have a special Twilight event planned for the most amazing date night or Galentine's outing with friends!
Love is definitely in the air when you are picking flowers during golden hour! Wander the flower rows to discover all the colours, scents and beauty of our field grown flowers, then choose your favourite blooms to take home!
Afterwards spread out on the lawns to soak up the festival atmosphere. To make the evening extra special we have live music! Enjoy some fun and soulful 90's love songs by talented local musician Lucy - the perfect backdrop to your evening.
In keeping with the Valentine's day theme our guest food van is Pink Buns with their tasty and fresh modern cantonese flavours. Vegetarian & GF options available. We also have the very cute ZEN Gelato Van serving their delicious artisan range of ice-creams. Our Picnic platters will also be available to pre-order and our pop-up bar will be serving signature floral drinks along with a selection of Tasmanian wine & beer. Sorry no BYO drinks.
Gates open at 5pm and you can arrive anytime between our opening hours. Picking takes approx. 1-1.5 hours to complete. Non-picking guests may accompany flower picking guests free of charge, otherwise a $10 entry fee per adult applies.
Harvesting instructions will be provided from our staff in the field. Your ticket includes snips to loan and a beautiful tin pitcher to take your flowers home in. Returning customers can bring their flower pitcher back for a reduced price ticket. Small pitcher base diameter = 11cm / Large pitcher base diameter = 13cm. New visitors must purchase a full price picking ticket before being eligible for the reduced price ticket on their next visit.
Due to the nature of our limited & ticketed events, no refunds are provided. Transferred tickets to another event within the same flower season may be possible with 48 hours notice. This session may be subject to postponement due to inclement weather. Participants will be notified by text or email in the case of cancellation by host. Here at Earthenry we grow over 100 different varieties of gorgeous seasonal flowers all nestled amongst beautiful gardens to explore during our open season events (October to April). Located in Lower Snug we are only a 25 minute drive south of Hobart and 5 mins from the Bruny Island ferry terminal.
From January to March, when our flowers are at their peak, we open weekly for 'Pick Your Own Flowers' and picnics on the lawns. Our Friday night twilight sessions with food, drinks and music are our most popular!
You can also book into one of our inspiring creative floral workshops or learn how we grow our flowers by attending one of our practical farming workshops. Our community volunteer gardening program Garden + Gossip runs every Friday during the off-season and welcomes new members!
