VAMP KC Fall Burlesque Intensive

Description

Join VAMP Kansas City Fall Intensive! Classes will meet Sunday evenings starting Sept 17th and concluding November 26th. The intensive is geared toward individuals who have experience in acting, dancing, vocals, or other performance arts. However the experience is adaptable- and if you're interested you should join!  Penelope and guest instructors (new this season) will walk participants through the creation of a character, costuming, classic burlesque moves, engaging with an audience and more. This class is inclusive and safe and open to all backgrounds, sexualities, gender expressions, and abilities. The rehearsal and performance spaces are wheelchair accessible.  

The VAMP burlesque intensive includes group and individual instruction as well as support and coaching outside of class. All participants will finish the intensive with one completed act ready for any stage. Participants will be invited to perform a showcase event in a professional setting Dec 8th. Professional photography and videos of the showcase will be included in the cost.
