Join us for a sweet and creative social gathering at the renowned Respite Cappuccino Court in Douglas, Michigan. A Cake Decorating event is perfect for those who love decorating, or simply enjoy a delicious piece of cake!
Event Details:
Step into the world of cake decorating and transform yourself into a state of flow, using repetitive motions creating your own edible work of art, a Magnolia Vanilla Sponge masterpiece. Consisting of three layers of delicate vanilla sponge cake, between each layer is light, airy, and silky vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream, which also coats the cake. Finally, topped with a fluffy edible white + rose saucer Magnolia.
Let your creativity run wild while enjoying charcuterie and specialty beverages, guests will explore different techniques such as how to sculpt a white + rose fluffy saucer Magnolia, and more under the guidance of local artist, Cakes by Lisa (Schulz).
This fun evening includes decorating a 6" Vanilla Sponge Cake, which you get to take home.
Who should attend?
Whether you're a seasoned baker or a complete beginner, this event is open to all skill levels. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, learn a new skill, or simply indulge in your love for cake. Seating for this exclusive event is very limited. Kindly note, this event is offered to guests ages 12 and up. We will be offering this event on April 4th and will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
