A feminist musical retelling of The Great Gatsby from Daisy Buchanan's point of view.

Verge Theater introduced DAISY as a staged reading at last year's New Works Festival. This year we present it in its revised form as our headliner event, after a four-month development period in which creator Abby Rodi worked closely with playwrighting and dramaturgy mentor Kate R. Morris and musical composition and arrangements mentor Megan Makeever. We call this development workshop MAKING DAISY and are thrilled to present to you with Abby's latest revision of this bold new women-centric take on this jazz age classic.
