Description
Vista Viking Festival is Southern California's premier Viking era celebration. Re-enactors in Viking Villages provide historic context, battles, and a glimpse at Viking life. Live music from local favorites Blindfold Monks, Occupier, Highland Way, Silk Button Butchers, Stepwise, Ploughboys, Damekor and more! Try your hand at Archery, Spears and Axes on our practice range. This year we welcome the IHGA Men’s & Women’s World's Strongest Stone Lifter Competition! In the past we have hosted the United States Strongest Stone Lifters. Odin's Chosen will be back giving attendees a chance to test their mettle and strength to see if they are worthy! Guests will also enjoy Norwegian & Viking cultural demonstrations. Vendors and food booths will have items to tempt your coins from your purse. Sample local beer and mead in our mead and beer gardens. And lose younger Vikings into all the activities in our upgraded Youth Pavillon. Vista Viking Festival is hosted by Norway Hall Foundation, a non-profit California 501(c)3 with participation from several other local non-profit groups.
