Vista Viking Festival is Southern California's premier Viking era celebration. Re-enactors in Viking Villages provide historic context, battles, and a glimpse at Viking life. Live music from Local favorite Highland Way and Krauka, a Viking band from Denmark, will play on Odin's stage. Try your hand at Archery, Spears and Axes on our practice range. Enjoy Norwegian cultural demonstrations of Rosemaling (painting), Fiber arts (knitting, spinning and weaving) and Lefse (potato based flatbread). Vendors and food booths will have items to tempt your coins from your purse. Sample local beer and meade in our Northern territory. Vista Viking Festival is sponsored by Norway Hall Foundation, a non-profit California 501(c)3 and its member orgnizations: Sons of Norway Lodge 6-060 and Norwegian Fish Club Odin.
