VMM Youth Pro-D Day Camp
Friday, October 24th | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Calling all young explorers in Grades 3–5! Join us for a day of creativity, curiosity, and nature-inspired art at the Vancouver Maritime Museum’s Youth Pro-D Day Camp.
Camp Highlights:
- Discover the wonders of nature journaling and develop your observational skills.
- Create your own nature journal to take home!
- Explore different artistic mediums through activities like scientific illustrations, artifact sketching, collaging, line studies, and quadrat sampling at the beach.
- Join a guided tour of museum exhibits, including an exclusive visit aboard the historic St. Roch.
What to Know:
- Cost: $80 per attendee (max 20 participants).
- Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in Grades 3, 4, or 5.
- Financial Assistance: Interested participants can apply for the Bridge to Learning bursary.
- Be Prepared: Part of the day will be spent outdoors—please dress for the weather.
