One of the most famous choral ensembles today, VOCES8, will spend a day in residency at Concordia. VOCES8 has leveraged exceptional performance videos and critically-praised live performances to develop a large international audience. Hearing a world-renowned vocal ensemble in the intimate resonance of the CUCenter is a tremendous opportunity!

About the program: 

Since the first music was created, music and dance have been constantly entwined. From chapels and courts to cinemas and clubs, this program rejoices in choral music inspired by dance. Juxtaposing Renaissance music with jazz and pop creates a rare mix of the ethereal and angelic, along with pure foot-tapping fun: a showcase for VOCES8’s inimitable stage presence.

Parking and Walking:  When you arrive to Concordia, Irvine; tell the gate attendant that you are here for the music event in the CU center. You will be directed to park in the main lot, then you will walk down the hill to the CU center.
