Description
Vulnerable Narratives is an interactive storytelling and community conversation experience centered on authenticity, reflection, and human connection. Each event begins with a guided writing workshop exploring a thoughtfully selected topic through reflective prompts, giving participants an opportunity to engage with the theme and their own experiences before transitioning into an open-mic conversation. Attendees are invited to participate through Q&A, dialogue, or, for those who feel comfortable, the sharing of their own true stories connected to the evening’s topic. Because the selected themes may explore sensitive, emotional, or potentially triggering experiences, the topic will be communicated in advance so participants can make informed decisions about their attendance and level of participation. Vulnerable Narratives creates a respectful space where lived experiences can be shared openly and met with care, curiosity, and compassion. Offering opportunities for connection, validation, understanding, and the recognition that we are not alone in our experiences. Founded by Sunny, a Universal Designer and advocate for authentic expression, the Vulnerable Narratives Project provides a welcoming platform for individuals to share wisdom, support one another, celebrate resilience, and inspire meaningful connection through the power of storytelling.
