Join us for the most anticipated Wine Festival of Minnesota on July 27th-28th!
The Waconia Wine Festival is a two day festival from 11am-6pm featuring three distinctive vineyards within a 5-mile radius of each other. This festival is the perfect opportunity to visit some of the best wineries in the state of Minnesota while tasting, exploring, and enjoying a variety of wine.
To accommodate the high demand, the Festival spans two-days, Saturday, July 27th & and Sunday, July 28th. Guests can choose which day, what time, and what winery they would like to begin their tour. Each winery will be offering a special food menu, wine deals, and LIVE music!
Admission
Pre-Sale Registration (SAVE $$)
NEW!! $5 registration fee that includes admission and transportation to ALL THREE wineries. This pre-admission fee does not include a tasting. Tastings can be purchased at EACH location for an additional charge.
Guests have the choice to purchase the event tasting of 4 wines for $15 at EACH location. Add-ons will be offered at each winery for an additional cost.
Day-of-Guests (Walk-in Admission)
Guests have the choice to purchase the event tasting of 4 wines for $20 at EACH location. Add-ons will be offered at each winery for an additional cost.
Guests not wanting to participate in the Waconia Wine Festival, but would like to go to a specific winery for wine and food may come into each winery forFREE. This does NOT include a tasting or transportation to each winery.
How it Works
Guests will pre-register for $5 and pick their starting time and winery on the day of their choice (Saturday, July 27th or Sunday. July 28th).
Pre-registered guests will arrive at their starting winery on the day and time that they chose when purchasing their ticket.
A $15 tasting fee (or $20 for walk-ins) will be paid at check-in for a sampling of 4 hand-selected wines from that specific winery. Upgrades will be available for purchase for additional wine tastings and/or a souvenir glass at EACH location.
Enjoy your wine tasting while sipping, shopping, and eating.
Once guests are ready to move on, they can hop on the tour bus and make their way to the next location.
Guests will then arrive at their second winery on the tour and pay a $15 tasting fee at check-in for a sampling of 4 wines (upgrades available for purchase).

Once guests are finished at their final winery, they will hop on the bus to return to their starting winery.

All bus transportation will be following this route below. Buses depart from each winery every 30 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE
Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. This is a rain or shine event.
Your starting winery will also where you end your winery tour.
Guests participating in the Waconia Wine Festival must be 21+. Have your ID ready at check-in.
Check-in will be from 11am-3pm. Please arrive on time to your check-in time at your starting winery.
Your pre-purchased ticket of $5 will allow entry and transportation to ALL THREE wineries. This does not include tastings.
If you decided to purchase your tickets in person, you will need to pay the $5 entry fee at EACH winery.
Tastings can be purchased when you arrive at EACH winery with add-ons available.
Walk-in guests can purchase the event tasting for $20 per person and will be available at EACH winery. Tastings can be purchased at check-in with add-ons available for an additional cost.
Guests not wanting to participate in the Wine Festival may come to any winery of their choice for free and enjoy wine and music on property. This does not include the event tasting or transportation to each winery.
There is no fee for sober drivers to attend the Waconia Wine Festival. A designated driver wristband will be given at your starting winery and you WILL NOT be able to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
Guests may transport themselves to each winery but will still need to pay the Admission Fees listed above and follow the designated route.

The Winery at Sovereign Estate is a family owned and operated estate vineyard and winery located on the North Shore of Lake Waconia. In 2018 the winery erected the Marquette Pavilion, a large seasonal event center with glass sides and a seating capacity over 400. The Pavilion and its covered Patio Area overlooks the beautiful estate vineyards and lake with a huge lawn seating area as well. Wine, beer and other refreshment are served during concert events.
