Description
Stroll through Historic Downtown Athens and UGA North Campus with a local, knowledgeable tour guide and learn about the history of the Classic City. Tours begin and end at the Historic Athens Welcome Center, where free parking is provided.
Hot Weather Policy
To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and staff, walking tours may be modified during periods of extreme heat.
When the forecasted National Weather Service Heat Index is expected to reach 100°F or higher during the scheduled tour time, the walking tour will be converted to a morning shuttle tour so that guests may enjoy an air-conditioned experience.
Guests may be notified of this modification upon arrival. If a guest prefers not to participate in the shuttle tour, they may choose to reschedule for another date or receive a full refund.
Our guides may also modify or end a tour at any time if weather or other conditions become unsafe, regardless of the forecast.
