4-class series or individual class drop-in registrations include optional free swim time before class begins from 12-3pm, or relaxation time on the grounds, by the creek, etc. as well as access to the cafe. You must be a registered participant in the course to access the Springs on this day; no public admission on programming days.
Join Heidi in the warm spring pools on Friday afternoons in May for Water Yoga, a slow, meditative technique flowing from pose to pose that incorporates yoga, aerobics and stretching. Heidi's Water Yoga class is gentle enough for first timers while still challenging the seasoned practitioner.
In Heidi’s class’s you will learn the practice of mind, body and breath connection and how it all works together to achieve a deeper, richer sense of your body's capabilities through, breath, mind and body connection. Enjoy being lead along a deep journey through yoga stretch focused on alignment, posture, flexibility and strength. With these tools you will gain wisdom on mindful practices, improving your energy, increasing flexibility and enlightening your spirit.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Heidi Cullen, a Sonoma Valley native, has been practicing various forms of fitness and yoga her entire life. Heidi was a professional figure, free style, partner dance and drill team skater, and also has a background in running, weight training, hiking and skiing. She was written up in ForbesTravelGuide.com, and received the highest number of guests' commendations for her work at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn teaching water yoga and leading hikes and bike tours. Heidi has also been on multiple radio shows and been written about in several publications during her 20 years running her food company, Heidi’s Biscotti.
Currently Heidi teaches water yoga, aqua aerobics, and fit and stretch (which she designed herself incorporating yoga, aerobic’s and stretching) at several facilities throughout Sonoma and Napa Counties. In her free time Heidi enjoys cooking and baking and has a passion by teaching nutrition and cooking in private classes. Heidi is committed to passing on her knowledge for others to improve themselves. She sees life as a work in progress, and believes we can accomplish whatever we put our minds to by believing in one’s self, following our heart and applying our mind, body and spirit.
Registration & Cancellation / Refund Policies:
If you miss a class in your series due to illness or planned/unexpected personal circumstances we are not able to offer refunds, thank you for understanding. For all advance cancellation and/or refund requests, these must be in writing and emailed to: laurie@mortonswarmsprings.com and will be fully OR partially refunded following the below schedule.
IF written cancelation request is received (via email):
- 14 or MORE days prior to first day of class, 75% of course fees are refundable.
- 8-13 days prior to first day of class, 50% of course fees are refundable.
- 7 days or LESS before the first day of class, 0% of the course fees are refundable.
