Description
In this watercolor exploration for the creative preteens and teens, we will learn the basics of color and water which makes watercolor art unique. We will introduce basic techniques and learn how to work with light and dark, and use color theory. Then we will paint a simple painting that uses previous knowledge of watercolor technique.

+ IMPORTANT: To ensure the age appropriateness of the curriculum, children must meet the age requirement listed with the course description by the beginning of class. All children must be 10 years old and older
+ SNACK There will be a supervised snack break each day at mid-morning. If your child has food allergies, please provide your own snack and drink
+ SMOCKS: The projects are fun but children may get something dirty at times. Bring a smock (old shirt or apron)
