Watercolor is a fun, relaxing, and forgiving paint to work with, and with the expert instruction provided, you will soon have a perfect (purrfect? pawfect?) portrait of your furry friend. The teaching artist for this class has an MA in art education.
For this beginner-friendly class, you will email a high-resolution image of your pet to lexcreativereuse@gmail.com no later than August 20. From this image, our talented instructor will create a pencil sketch to make your painting a joy to complete. Your class fee covers pencil sketch, all materials, instruction, and the usage of the space.

Lex Center for Creative Reuse is a nonprofit brick and mortar creative reuse center located in Lexington, KY. A wide and constantly changing array of art and craft supplies are available for sale. Proceeds benefit supply grants for public school teachers, subsidize providing low-cost, high-value art and craft classes, and creating vibrant and engaging opportunities for community art.
