Description
Thomas Donnell and John Sedgley were York’s earliest furniture makers. While it was known that they were active in York, no furniture had been attributed to them—until recently. In reviewing Old York’s early furniture collection, Joel Lefever has been able to identify numerous pieces by the two makers, and has put together a visual story of their oeuvre.
