The New Deal Creative Arts Center is proud to present the inaugural Hudson Valley Theatre Festival where we are featuring 12 original new works by playwrights from around the country. A weekend pass gives you access to any and all readings throughout Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster Counties PLUS admission to our invite-only closing reception on May 5, 2024 where you can meet the playwrights, enjoy light refreshments and our special presentation. 

The Festival will take place Friday, May 3 through Sunday May 5th, 2024 throughout various locations in Dutchess, Ulster and Orange Counties. A schedule of the new work readings will be forthcoming. Tickets for individual readings will be on sale on or before March 31, 2024.

Purchase your pass before April 1st for an early bird special of $60.00. After April 1st, weekend passes will be $75.00.

We are a creative outlet exploring and celebrating all forms of art (fine, performing, visual, literary, etc) through workshops, classes, special events, and performances. Our main focus is accessibility and opportunity for artists and audiences of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

As the New Deal was a new outlook and opportunity for the American people, the New Deal Creative Arts Center will provide a new and exciting outlook and opportunity for artists and audiences.
