Come sit with Chef Kuukua of Ghana, West Africa as she treats you to a yummy Ghanaian breakfast. Watch as she cooks each of the 5 courses and enjoy each course as it comes out. She will regale you with stories about growing up in Ghana and might show you some Azonto moves if the spirit moves her. There will be hipllife playing to complete the transport to West Africa.

Beautiful, handmade Ghanaian aprons ($10-15), spices ($3) and THE Asempe Moko, ($10) Chef Kuukua's signature hot sambal will be on sale so you can start your holiday shopping off right.

Asempe Kitchen is a catering and pop-up restaurant providing great vegan and vegetarian options to traditional West African cuisine. We use 7 natural ingredients or less (including spices) in the majority of our dishes. We cook in canola oil instead of the traditional palm oil. We bring the spice to you in case you love having a spicier version of our dishes.

We currently operate in the Syracuse area of Central New York but will travel to Ithaca and Rochester to serve clients.

You can book us for any size event up to 100 people. We specialize in pop-ups and cooking demos and classes for up to 50 people.
