Project SAGE is a non-profit domestic violence agency serving Northwest Connecticut and the surrounding communities in New York and Massachusetts. The mission of Project SAGE is to create social change to end interpersonal, relationship violence by challenging attitudes and beliefs about power, control, and gender norms and by advocating for victims and survivors. We work with women, men, teens and children.
Description
A classical landscape built at a human scale, Wethersfield invites visitors into ornate garden rooms and rambling woodlands, spaces both intimate and open to the vast countryside, inspiring childlike wonder and storybook surprise at every turn. Once nearly lost, in recent years Wethersfield has begun sensitive restoration work, receiving renewed public interest and national and international attention, including placement on the National Register of Historic Places, a New York State Award for Historic Landscape Preservation, and coverage in Architectural Digest, Country Life, and Veranda. Sited 1400' above sea level, Wethersfield offers stunning views of the Taconic, Berkshire and Catskill mountain ranges, and is sure to please visitors with the formality of its lines and the enthusiasm of its plantings.
