We at the museum work to preserve and present the rich history of the Attleboro area with an emphasis on its industrial history. We welcome visits by individuals and groups interested in exploring Attleboro’s industrial history. We are active in making historic presentations both at the museum and out in our community.
Description
Join us at the AAIM on June 11th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for a read aloud of “What Makes a Rainbow?” followed by a STEM activity geared toward younger children.
In the story, we learn that a rainbow occurs after it rains and all the different colors it’s made up of. How can we recreate a rainbow inside without having to wait for rain? Let’s find out! Through a hands-on experience using markers, paper towels, and water we will create a rainbow using the effects of capillary.
This event is free. Space is limited, registration is encouraged to reserve your spot. This event is intended for ages 3-5.
