Our Sixth Whiskey & Watercolor art workshop at Paddy's Irish Public House!
I took Latin a loooong time ago and I always loved the word January and it has always stuck with me.
It is pronounced as ‘yawn - you - ah’.
The word itself translates as ”the beginning and ending and the opening and closing.” The same word is used to define our first calendar month and a physical door.
I think of January as the transition. The threshold to the year we are about to walk through.
