Description

We'll be meeting during world whisky week - so whiskies not from our usual Australia, Scotland, or Ireland, are on this month's agenda.

Join us this May as we explore a lineup that includes Finland, Sweden, France, Wales, China, and Japan!

With the exception of perhaps Japan, none of these are countries that most people would think of as whisky powerhouses - but the same remark was once used for Japan as well, along with Australia and the USA; and we're sure we have all appreciated some absolutely stunning whiskies from these formerly "new whisky countries"!

The Tasting Lineup:

  • Teerenpeli Karhi (Finland)
  • Mackmyra Special 07 (Sweden)
  • Warenghem Breizh (France)
  • Penderyn Myth (Wales)
  • Grand Talon (China)
  • Fuji Single Blended (Japan)

The Food:

A cheese & charcuterie selection with locally sourced produce from Canberra and the Southern Tablelands is provided for each attendee at in-person events. Please advise us via email if you have any allergies or dietary requirements that we need to be aware of.

The First Edition bar at the Novotel Canberra will also be offering every attendee a discount off all food and drinks before, during, and after our Whisky Flights event - simply show your ticket at the bar when ordering to receive your discount!

The Fine Print:

This event is only for persons aged 18 years or older.
