2024 Goode Live Theatre Season - Paradise Theatre Artists In Residence Series

Join multi-instrumentalist and master storyteller Ryan McCurdy as he shares stories and songs about hiking the Appalachian Trail over a decade ago. Or maybe they’re about the musical he co-wrote in the year leading up to the lockdown, about a rock star and a novelist who take to the trail in a moment of crisis. Or maybe they’re about something else entirely.

Just don’t expect him to tell you the truth.

Weaving together memory, music, mental health, the creative process, the stories we tell ourselves, and the ones we tell each other, this high-wire act will be performed for one night only at the Paradise Theater.

Ryan is an Actor-Musician trainer and developer, a private voice and instrumental teacher, and his original projects 45 Bennington, NIAGARA (with Lauren Widner), and Whiterock Cliff (with Ellie Pyle) are all being developed for future production and licensing. He is a twelve instrument multi-instrumentalist whose original music can be heard on stage, television, film, and through his work as a founding member of bands Arboretum and Bonfire Falls.
