Share Make your own Santa ornament in preparation for the holidays! Learn about whittling tools, types of wood, safety and techniques in this 1.5 hour class. No experience necessary; the project is designed for beginners and intermediate wood crafters. Whittling knives, gloves, and thumb guards will be provided and available for checkout from the Tool Library.
Instructor Andanda Bates "The Black Viking" has been whittling and working in woodcraft art for over 10 years with a recent focus on whittling, chisel carving, wood bent boxes and jewelry as well as larger sculptures and home decor items. His crafts can be seen on Facebook and Instagram.
