Description

On April 26, 1977, Studio 54 opened in Manhattan, New York, as disco was gaining popularity.  It had the notoriety of being a place of unsavory flavor, and after a slick broad pays the disco a visit she vows to change the pace of future discos. One year later, Miami's District Attorney, Ms. December Lee, opened Golden Row in the heart of Miami.  Instead of music that creates culture shock and transforms the beat of America bouncing off of every wall, December Lee decides to tone down the insanity, thereby controlling the future vibe.  Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor and the Bee Gees are important to the industry, but so is the Golden Row as staying alive takes on new meaning. Disco will survive to bring good times and to help you shake your groove thing! The Golden Row is why disco inferno still burns and why there will never be a last dance, HOT STUFF!

GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS UP IN THEIR BEST 1970's OUTFIT!  If you don't want to do that, you are welcome to wear what makes you comfortable.  There is no dress code, we just ask that you cover all parts that need covering.

Please note that this is a improvised show and we have no idea what will be said.  We will keep the show PG-13 and we will ask the participants to do so as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Is this an All you Can Eat buffet?

A.  There will be plenty of food, but this is not a Golden Corral or Ryan's Steakhouse buffet.  Please don't expect to have 40-50 items on the buffet. You will have a couple main dish choices, 3-4 side dishes, and a salad.

Q.  Do we eat before the show, or after the show?

A.  You will eat during the show.  The appetizers and salad will be served when the doors open.  The entree will be served after the first act (20-30 minutes).  Dessert will be served after Act II (another 20-30 minutes)

Q.  How long will the show last?

A.  That depends on the crowd, how fast you move through the buffet line, and how fast you eat.  We like for everybody to enjoy their course during the break, and not during the show. It is hard to eat in the dark, and pay attention to the show.  We expect everything to be 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

Q.  Is this show appropriate for children?

A.  Just like a Disney movie, the show may include some innuendos and adult humor that the little ones will miss.  We are a family troupe performing in a family restaurant. We will keep it family friendly. If you have questions, feel free to call us at (513) 201-PLOT.

Q.  Should I bring my red hat group?

A.  P.L.O.T.T.  Performers believes that you can have fun and laugh without being raunchy.  It is difficult to give too many details without out giving away the plot. This show does include some adult humor and innuendos.  This show would be appropriate for red hat ladies and anybody else wanting to have a fun evening!

Q.  What if I have a question not listed here?

A.  If you have a question, chances are somebody else does as well.  Contact Andy @ andy@plottperformers.com and ask!
