Who Will Own the Forest? is a two and a half-day event, beginning with an evening reception on September 26, conference sessions and evening reception on September 27, and conference sessions on September 28. This year’s conference will bring executives, investors, asset managers, landowners, and conservationists to Portland to examine the drivers, trends, and impacts of institutional timberland investing.  Who Will Own the Forest? offers ample networking and learning opportunities, including continuing education credits for appraisers, attorneys, foresters, and CPAs.

 

The Forest Products Forum, which runs just prior to Who Will Own the Forest? on September 26, features expert presentations from Forest Economic Advisors and guest speakers on wood markets.

 

Please note registration for FP Forum - ONLY does not include entry to opening reception on September 26. All other registration options include entry to the opening reception.

Registration Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All payments are due prior to the event.
  • Full refund available with written notification of cancellation received before August 28, 2023.
  • 60% refund and a copy of the conference proceedings with written notification of cancellation received before September 12, 2023.
  • Substitutions will be accepted. Please contact Vivian Bui at vbui@worldforestry.org with substitution details.
  • Fees will not be refunded in case of no-show.
  • Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.
  • Payment via international bank wire must add a USD $45 transaction fee on top of the registration fee to cover banking wire fees.
  • Payment via domestic bank wire must add a USD $25 transaction fee on top of the registration fee to cover banking wire fees.
