Description

This course covers first aid presentations, correcting dehydration with fluids, giving injections, bandaging wings and legs. 1 - 2 hours is spent gaining practical experience in these techniques.

  • Advanced First Aid of Birds
  • Advanced First Aid of Marsupials

The course is recommended for carers of more than two years' experience.

Limited to 20 people to keep it personal and valuable.

As this course is being presented by Dr Anne Fowler, Bird and Wildlife Vet, the cost will be $35 for Faunal Rescue members and $75 for non-members.

Any members who cannot meet this cost, but meet the criteria and are keen yo attend, please email: admin@faunarescue.org.au to request a reduction in cost.

Due to the limited number of places, priority will be given to Fauna Rescue members. If places are still available on Sunday 8th May, bookings will then open to non-members.
