Willie J Laws is a Texas guitar “gun slinger”, vocalist and song writer following in the footsteps of T-Bone Walker, Lightning Hopkins, Albert King and many others. This music is the kind of real Texas soul, all mixed up with classic R&B, country, blues/funk that grows from the Texas soil.
The Willie J Laws Band sound is deep Texas Roots music, add some Funk, and Jazz influenced bass patterns, and the influence of various Afro-Caribbean drum beats, all tempered with a groove from Motown, Memphis or Muscle Shoals, New Orleans. The sound is traditional African-American music with a unique twist, skillfully played and performed.
All ticket purchases are final sale. Refunds will only be issued if the show is cancelled by the venue or performer. In the event of a show cancellation and ticket refund, the refund will be the full ticket price minus the booking fees.
